Hi, I'm Kristupas Kalabuchovas. People call me Kris, because how the hell do you pronounce my name?? 🤷♂️
I'm a Graphic Designer and a huge fan of all things sports. Find me and my work where sports meets culture.
INSPIRATIONS
I grew up playing academy football in Lithuania and saw how much sports and culture were alienated from each other. As is common in the post-soviet world, as a young athlete you had to choose between sports and any other interests - you were told you couldn't have both. I never agreed to that and kept practicing sports as well as music and arts, all of which I knew were my calling. Those influences have shaped my approach to work today - using design as a means to communicate messages beyond the sport itself.
APPROACH
I believe that creative work should always be "serious play" - that's why I bring an open mind, deep listening, and exploration into every project I take on. I'm excited to see what challenges the future holds - get in touch if you think we could take them on together!
