Who I Am
Originally from Lithuania, I've lived and worked in Germany, the UK and now the Philippines for the last few years. I never went to art school and never wrote a CV - I believe good creative work speaks for itself and passion always shines through.
My creative career started in High School, when I got into Illustration and Tattooing. It all lead me to a more purpose and function-focused practice of graphic design and I cannot wait to design for many more exciting names and faces.
Active listening, wholehearted effort and serious play are key elements in the way I approach most things in life - from parenthood to creative projects.
My Why
& How
As a teen skateboarder I cared more about the skateboard designs and cool stickers than how to do a double kickflip. As a young athlete I cared more bout the way my boots looked and what ad I saw them in then my team's results. I saw and admired design and creativity in sports and all around and wanted to play a part in it before I even knew it.
I grew up playing academy-level football with high hopes of going pro one day. The academy culture was, sadly, stuck in the very post-soviet idea of "Sport or anything else - can't have both". That meant if you're taking sports seriously, don't even think about any other interests.
I never subscribed to that mentality, going to music school every morning and team practice every night and the duality of my early life is what inspires my work today. My aim is to create culturally-charged design for the work of sports and beyond.
